MISSION STATEMENT

The mission of the Western Regional Trustee Symposium is to continue its tradition of commitment to quality healthcare governance programming at an affordable cost. The program will offer strategies to achieve the following objectives:

  • Enhance leadership and consensus building skills
  • Broaden attendees' awareness of current healthcare trends that affect trustees and how they serve their boards and communities
  • Examine "best practices" of successful healthcare governance and healthcare business strategies for practical application in the boardroom
  • Provide networking opportunities for trustees and leaders from hospitals of varying size and scope
  • Challenge conventional thinking with fresh approaches to standard healthcare governance concerns and business practices.

  • WHY SHOULD YOU ATTEND THIS MEETING?

Attendees at this symposium will gain increased knowledge about many issues through educational sessions, networking, and information exchange with other trustees.

    WHO SHOULD ATTEND THIS MEETING?

Trustees and executive staff from hospitals and health systems are encouraged to attend as a team, and a discount is provided if four or more individuals attend from the same organization.  Spouses and guests are also welcome to attend some of the group meal functions, but do need to be registered.
